Is anyone good at dubbing sound effects over existing film? This tribute to the Hammer Girl is absolutely awesome but sadly let down because it uses the original soundtrack with men. Does anyone know how to recreate this with female sounds?

I dub sounds all the time. I use VideoPad Video Editor. You can lay down multiple sound tracks. It's pretty flexible; you can get your videos to sound pretty much exactly as you want so long as you have sound files to overlay the original. You can find a lot of decent free sound files on the internet. I usually hit up Youtube to look for specific sounds.
It takes a lot of time and patience, but it can be done. If you're serious about dubbing sounds, I'd recommend VideoPad. Very easy to use. :)
