I agree that real strangulation should be banned as this could literally kill someone, but roleplay where someone isn't hurt is something entirely different.

What do you mean with that claim ? LOLUnacceptance wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 6:34 am

The nay-sayers want to go even further - ban choke-strangling even with a woman's consent during sexual play.
At this rate they will be proposing laws to limit what kind of sexual contact two willing partners can have! The report did show a surprising number of women have voluntarily tried it, at least once.
There's a movie in there, somewhere...
I should have been more specific. I'm talking more about strangulation that is perhaps performed by someone that doesn't know what they are doing. Accidents happen, and I wouldn't be willing to take this risk with someone. Fake strangulation, I'm fine with, but I don't think I would be willing to strangle someone for real. It's fantasy violence all the way for me. Also, in combat sports the competitors know what they are doing. I'm talking more about those who don't. I think it's a dangerous practice.Totallibertarianism wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 9:37 amWhat do you mean with that claim ? LOLUnacceptance wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2025 6:34 am

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0q1wx3nzy9oUK should ban female MMA sport (+ Judo, Jujitsu, professional wrestling/Grappling sports etc... etc..), where sometimes women are strangled harshly and losing consciousness or sent urgently to hospital ?
It is completely ridiculous... Even in Pakistan female MMA sport exists and you can watch very violent F VS F fights and sometimes the loser loses her consciousness or sent to hospital after being graphically strangled.
This event happened in the UK, female MMA Stephanie Evans VS Małgorzata Tkocz - Cage Warriors, the polish woman fighter is harshly strangled and nearly killed online, she was sent to urgent care, but the MMA is still a sport, a very violent sport and internationally legalised.

*You can see that the video is still on Youtube and even not censored.
So no, banning "the action of real strangling" can not be done, your claim is just not logical.
*Of course what should be banned is the legal selling of lethal weapons like "firearms" and the real actions of shooting.
