New request: Adding a section for video games in the FF board.

Why are you opposed to just posting your material in a single thread dedicated to video game imagery?

I think the issue is that there is only a small amount of interest here in "video game" fetish, not enough to warrant an entire section. I don't know anything about managing an online forum, but I'm guessing it's too much work and restructuring to set up an entire section for possibly only you and maybe a few other posters (though I've actually seen only you posting this material). A single thread would completely suffice for what you want to do. If others are indeed interested in this sort of thing, they will post on your thread. I've had my Custom Community thread on both the FF and DD boards for a few years now, and they both do quite well in attracting only those who are interested in custom material as much as I am. I'm able to post custom-related material without having it bleed all over the board.

Why not just create a single thread for your material? Others will chime in if they are interested. It's simple, concise, and it works quite well.

Why you say that I'm opposed ? The problem is that I don't have many stuffs to post unlike from others materials posted here (mainstream videos, pictures, AI stuffs etc...), so I will only follow the rules of this board and I will post them in the main video and images section of this forum... I don't think there will be a problem with that, only 1 or 2 posts by week... Not a great amount to "bleed all over the board".

What you can do with gore elements with females enemies, the only problem is that enemies women are not very attractive in the game, should be more uncovered like we can find with the civilians but with the mods you can maybe fix this problem !

I can't find video games images or, for that matter,AI-generated images arousing. I played Kingdoms Come Deliverance and Red Dead Redemption...good games, good grafic, but I feel them cold, absolutely far from the expressiveness of a human face or from the flexibility and body language of a real person. Also Baldur's Gate 3 ( one of the best RPG, in my opinion) can't compete with reality.
It is possible that in the not-too-distant future these gaps will be filled, but for now I cannot find them sexually stimulating for our fetish.
DD has a dedicated forum and from January the 1 only four threads were started. What I mean is not "don't open a similar forum on FF"...In no way I should agree with censoring or denying a space to anyone, but just that probably for the time being, video games are still for most of us something uninspiring! I'm completely the opposite of you for the video games playing, I hate the multiplayer gaming, why ? :

1- The multiplayer gaming breaks completely the immersion and the realism of the gaming.

2- In term of "quality", the multiplayer gaming is considered the worst one in the video games market, of course you will find many fans of the MP but MP games are effectively the cheapest ones with the lowest quality you can find in the market. Lack of AI, lack of sophisticate elements of the game, 0 immersion, and the most important 0 freedom ! 0 Freedom, you are always targeted by humans players so you have to always reacting and keep stay in action in non stop way !

3- The best RPGs in the market are effectively in solo mode that's why the best RPGs have the best grade and notations from players and from the video games magazines accross the world. The multiplayer gaming have their own ""distinctive customers" while the solo ones have their own fans customers.

4- In the multiplayer gaming mods are 100% banned or can not be installed, effectively in this case, you will not be able to enjoy the fetish side of any game... Better in this case to play with console, like with the Xbox or playstation to try to use the very few mods that exist... Without mods it will be very difficult to find any fetish or sexual attraction in any game.

You played KCD 1 ? The old version is effectively not a good game for the fetish elements but the new version (KCD2) is excellent with high potential for the fetish elements with mods, and RDR 2 is effectively far better with mods installed for the fetish feeling, same with Cyberpunk 2077... Have you tried to install mods in to your games ?

Of course, if you are like Awol Nate, you are not attracted by 3D arts and AI generated pictures, I can not convince you in that matter... I feel the same way. For me, it's because computer graphics fall too much into uncanny valley. Like AI, it's trying to look like real life, but it will never be real life. The mix of realism and animation just gives me an uncomfortable feeling.

I don't agree with your comments, effectively some are corrects like the feeling of "fake" sensation when you are watching AI generated pictures and video games stuffs (no reals actors or actresses playing in them), but you should know that in the video games industry, they have also the same process of productions as with the mainstream movies, the graphics, the NPCs, the voices, the movements of bodies and faces are effectively produced by real actors and actresses... Just watch this trailer from War Horse Studio how they developped and produced their game =>

Nowadays mostly video games you can find in the market are not generated by AI but by real actors and actresses and also sometimes from real locations and history like with the KCD serie.

Of course in the near future, soon or later video games will be 100 % generated by AI, you will no more need actors or actresses playing in them, the voices and translation will be also generated by AI and also the virtual events inside the game will be also generated by sophisticate AI technologies.

Yes I concede that sometimes in the video games it is lacking of realistic facial suffering expression but not from all video games... Many video games like WWE2K or RDR 2 can generate very realistic painfull facial expressions =>

Definetly these pics are better than the other coming from video games or AI.
I'm sure in next future will be harder to discern reality from "fakes"...and you are right, in a game you have an active role,not as a mere observer.
My son is a software engineer and often speaks me of the quick progress in these fields.
May be that in a couple of years me too will convert to the games for my fetish.
But until then I think I will keep up to write, roleplay and shoot the stories we love with my soulmate and our friends.

You are 100% correct here. I play only multiplayer games. I quit playing solo games in the late '90s. I have a regular group of friends with whom I play, and we've been playing for many years. It is the only type of gaming that interests me. And yes, multiplayer gaming doesn't allow for mods, and frankly I'm not all that interested in the mods. When I game, I just want to have fun with my group of friends.

I know games use real faces and bodies for character models. It's still not the real thing. It's trying to look as close to the real thing as possible, but it will never be the real thing. The graphics are immersive to me, but as far as sexual arousal goes, forget it. The characters blur the line between realism and fantasy, which takes me out of it. And if games do become all AI, then there's no sexual appeal for me.

That's not to say others can't be attracted to these game models, such as yourself. It's how I feel. We all have different feelings on what we find attractive and nothing we say to each other is going to change that.
