Your Favorite Mainstream Death Scene???

What is the mainstream death scene that most excites you, and that you'd want to see re-created by a death fetish producer? What would you change about it to make it perfect?

There are so many to choose from, but try to limit it to the Number 1 scene. No cheating like Sandi with the compilation of her 1,000 favorite scenes that she was going to take to that desert island

Okay, I will bite, but my choice may not be reproducable on a death fetish site budget.

I always loved the death scenes ( not necessarily the movie) in Horrors of the Black Museum.
Since I can only choose one, I really liked the final kill. The one where Shirley Ann Field and her deformed boyfriend come out of the tunnel of love and he plunges a knife into her chest, extracts it, then flees the boat. Shirley was dressed in a yellow sweater and black skirt and falls dead draped over the side of the boat in a really sexy pose. It contained just the right amount of blood on the sweater, but could have used more camera time on the dead body.

I suppose you could change the location of the script and have the body sort of slung over a bed or chair.

Great topic.
My favourite almost perfect scene is Doctor No. There is not much wrong with the original, nice slightly shiny crisp white shirt tucked into a sexy tight skirt, shots in and around the left breast, as described exactly in the book, see below. Nice carrying scene and a silencer!!!!!
All that would improve it would be a long sleeved white shirt and shots of the impacts into her
body with a more lingering and more shots of the blood stained shirt when she is carried out. Possibly one or 2 more shots to the body.....

My number one choice is the shooting in "The Tingler." Vincent Price aims a gun at his wife, she is afraid, he shoots, she grabs her chest, grimaces in pain, and falls to the ground, wearing a terrific dress. The shooting was one shot, to a vital organ, quick but not too quick, and very realistic. Then it turns out that the bullet was a blank, and she did not die, but the shooting was very real, and most important, she thought it was real.

My is probably not reproducible either, simply due to complexity.
Edgar Wallace is famous for King Kong, but also wrote a string of crime stories which were converted into "krimis" in Germany in the 60's and 70's. The krimis bore little resemblance to Wallace's stories, more or less used them as outlines for the films.
Two krimis use versions of the same scene, altho one scene is no longer available in the western hemisphere. In the Hunchback of Soho, and The Monk with the Whip ( the College Girl Murders) there were scenes involving policewomen strangled by phone cord. I have posted a screen grab from the Hunchback of Soho below.
One of my fans from Germany sent me a detailed transcript of the deleted scenes from the Monk with the Whip, which I will condense here.
Both scenes start with Inspector Higgins ( main good guy) going to interview a young lady. a policewoman is with him. In the hunchback, the young lady is shot from a door, the inspector gives chase, finds an open window with fire escape and man crossing street, he gives chase, while the policewoman calls it in. the killer was hiding in the room, emerges and strangles the policewoman with the phone cord, as she is in his escape route.

In the Monk with the whip, Inspector Higgins goes to interview a witness to one of the murders, but arrives too late. Breaks down door only to find witness strangled. hallway door is locked, so he breaks that one too. Finds similar situation to above, leave to chase subject. In this movie, policewoman closes door behind him, and as she walks towards wall mounted phone, says to strangled college girl "wait 'till they get a load of you". opens uniform jacket while on phone, waiting for homicide. Camera rolls back, into bedroom where we see closet door slowly opening. Camera the rolls back towards policewoman. Gloved hands pick up slack in extra long phone cord. as policewoman says "I've got another juicy little murder for you" phone cord around neck and strangle starts. Shoulders back and white shirted boobs pop out of partially open jacket. during struggle jacket get pulled off shoulders pinning arms at cop's sides, and wall phone gets yanked off wall. Strangle scene is longer and also features a boob grab. Scene cuts to inspector (as lady cop crashes to floor in demise) who finishes talking to citizen. Apartment door opens, we see quick look at college girl and cop back to back on floor with phone cord now wound around both necks, cops shirt now torn open revealing 70's bra and cleavage. Door closes as killer walks past, goes to lobby and gets in left elevator, just as right elevator opens with inspector. Inspector has to break open door again discovering bodies ( another good side shot of both women) scene ends, with defeated look on inspectors face....
