Sound !!

Hi Blue,
I do like your work and purchase any videos that come close to my particular tastes, but I have come to have one pet peeve. That is the sound effect you use for a shooting with a silencer. That extra sound of the bullet hitting is just way too late and I find it distracting. Especially when you do an edit, first showing the flash and then cutting to the victim and then you see and hear the bullet hit. Must be very slow bullets, lol. If anyone else would like to see a change in sound effect, let it be known. I'd like your older versions better.
Just trying to give you some feedback Blue. If no one else agrees, then I will rest my case.

Actually, a quick cut is much, much easier to do. In fact, I'd need to do far less f/x work to achieve that effect. Cut from gun to victim and she reacts instantly as the bullet explodes against her belly, chest, you name it! I just thought that fans appreciated seeing the bullet hit. I do try to time the impact sound effect with the actual impact. I think you're saying that the impact takes too long, not that the sound effect isn't timed to the impact, right?

Well, what do others think? Do you want instantaneous hits, or do you want to see the bullet impacting the victim?

Thanks Blue. What I mean is the time between the shot and the sound of impact. I know what you are getting at as far as wanting to show the shot being taken and then the cut to the impact. I don't think that is always necessary, as per my favourite video, Open House. I prefer to just see the female and the shooter only for a bit prior to the shot. The other thing about that impact is the actual sound. What is that?? Sounds like a knife sticking into a sand bag. There are tons of free silencer sound effects on the web. Maybe I should put some up and have a poll. I am sure us silencer lovers all have our favourites.

I have no problem with the shooting videos.
but in some of the strangling videos the women don't make enough noise.
some are great and some just go too quietly.
half of the fun is the great noises they make.
but otherwise you do a fine job blue.

Yeah, strangling sounds are very important to me, too. That was my pet peeve about Suzi. She looked great when being strangled, but only sounded average. I nagged about it in my customs of long ago, and I think it paid off! For example, I thought she sounded MUCH better in her entry in the "Escort Wars" series. The other Bluestone babes should listen to that if they want to know what I like.

Totally agree with Harry the current FX is very impact friendly.Stay the course but its great that your open for a garden party discussion Blue.The more reaction time probably is more work for you along with the replays but the quality sets you apart.

Well, I can always mix it up a bit. In fact, cutting some mili-seconds before the bullet impact is easy as pie. I will keep it the same with Harry's and Gold's customs and some others, but I will do some with the realistic impact timing, despite the fact that you really won't see the bullet impacts except in slow-mo.

Yes, put up some silencer sounds and attach a poll. What I use for the silencer sound is the sound of a knife sticking into a sand bag. Hey, wait a second. No, that's what I use for the impact sound. For the silencer sound, I load the gun, screw on the silencer, aim at the Bluestone babe and ask her to delay her vocalizations until after the sound of the silencer has faded so as not to obscure the sound, then I simply pull the trigger!!!
