Question for Blue about models-Danica and Emma

Blue,

I have gone on in other posts about how much I liked your Supernova and Wondra vids and specifically how much I liked your casting of Danica and Emma. I'd like to ask a few questions on their futures in vids and the experiences you had with shooting with them. I understand you are on vacation so don't think you have to respond right away, I can wait. in fact, I'd rather wait till you could answer fully if you can't while on holiday.

Few questions:
1) Since Emma died at the end of the third Wondra vid, is that all for that model? Will she be back? Is it up in the air or is more planned or is she definitively done?
2) What was the reason for no nudity in the 2nd and third Wondra vids? Did she object? Want more money? Just curious as you had it in the first. Same question for Danica in Supernova.
3) Small question but curious. Was there a reason Emma was listed as Emma G in the credits and not Emma? Just wondering if she requested this.
4) You have announced a second Supernova vid, so Danica obviously came back for another shoot. Is more with her in the works? Even if nothing is planned, is she open to more or has she moved on?

Few questions on the shoots themselves and the models (particularly Danica but also Emma):

1) Can you give any idea of what the process was to get Danica/Emma to do the vid was?

You mentioned your partner joked you should get her (Danica) and you took it seriously and called the agent and met her daily rate. I think I can speak for other forum members who would love to know more about the behind the scenes process to get her. Can you give a longer comment on the process?

Did she have any concerns about the content or type of video it was? Did she fully understand who was buying it and why or is that something you gloss over (i.e. does she know that its for a bunch of pervy guys who want to watch her get killed on camera?)

I said this in the review, but I was surprised she did it. She's not a no name model just looking for work. She has a career and name and so I might think she might shy away from this sort of stuff. Was any of that a concern?

Do you mind saying what her daily rate was? I ask cause it would be interesting to know what she asks for a days shooting just to gauge the level of investment (not because I want to see if she'll do a shoot at my house, although now that you mention it, that's not a bad idea! :-) )

Other things: Was there a negotiation? Did she want more money to do nudity? Were there concerns she had or things you had to do to get her? Any demands she had to sign on? Anything she would not do? Did she check out your site and videos before hand? What were her reactions to them? How long did it take for her to say yes (not to shoot due to scheduling but for the negotiation process)?

2) Any description of what it was like to shoot with Emma and or Danica would be great to: Were they nice to shoot with? Were they just let me do my job and get out or were they engaging and interested in the work/vid/site? Were they aloof? Did they take direction or did they do their own thing? Any complaints? What'd they think of the set? Costumes? Again, anything they didn't want to do on the day of shooting? Anything you tried to get more of but they (as actresses) couldn't handle or give a decent performance of so you dropped it?

3) I asked above about them coming back, but have they expressed the desire to do more? Also, did they seem to look at this as just a job to make a few bucks or did they look at these vids as something that might do more for their career (i.e. are these something they won't talk about or are they excited/proud of them)? Just wondering what their attitude towards them are. Was there any sort of contractual obligation to do more than one or is it just a pay as you go type situation?

4) Even when/if Danica/Emma move on do you think your casting of them will lead to casting of other similar glamour models? Again, IMO, the casting of those two really puts your stuff in a class of it's own. Many of your other models are fairly hot but when you can google Emma or Danica and get hundreds of pics, see them on other sites, youtubes, magazines and articles, it really elevates the whole production. Can you leverage them to get other named models/actresses (I don't mean anyone truly famous obviously but other page six girls or glamour models)?

I think I can speak for all your fans and say that any details of how this came together is well received.

PS: Any plans of behind the scenes footage from Supernova, Wondra, or any others? Fight staging or anything that shows the process could be very cool (Hell, I'd watch Danica sitting in chair and sipping water) This would be a great way to give more value without extra actual videos as it might be stuff you already have.

You should not be putting full model names. This has caused issues before. Also most of the questions you are asking should not be answered. Why should Blue telly you about the money side of things and hiring etc. These kind of questions are what causes problems in this genre!

As far as the names, Danica's full name is listed in the credits and Emma has pictures of her as Wondra on her facebook page. You google 'Emma G Wondra' and she comes right up.

On the money, again, if that isn't something Blue wants to answer, I'm fine with that. I knew posting it that he might have an issue. If I were to scream and yell if he doesn't want to answer, that would be inappropriate but that doesn't mean I'm not allowed to be interested or ask. I was curious and as far as that being personal, how is that personal? It's asking about how a production of a product is put together. I was impressed with the quality product he put out and wanted to know more about it. I don't know a lot about how the production works and wanted to know. I'd be very interested to know how much it costs to make a movie like this, with the special effects, actors, production, etc. This is obviously far over renting a hotel room and hiring an actress to 'play dead.' It's not because I'm prying into personal business but because I find the logistics of the process interesting and as a fan I want to know more. Because of his movie, I researched Emma and Danica and am following them some too (online not in RL) and have found some other stuff they've done that seems cool. Again, that would be my understanding of using a bit bigger named models; to cause that reaction. How is getting the very reaction you wanted inappropriate?

Again, asking about the casting process? Asking about the behind the scenes stuff with the models? How they reacted to the shoot and acted? I;m never going to meet Danica Thrall but Blue seems to have. I'd like to know his reaction to her and what she was like in RL. Now, I get that he might be hesitant to say 'she was a royal bitch' because that might affect her future bookings but he can be diplomatic and tell some details about the shoot and models. Frankly that is stuff we hear about everyday on movie sets. I think some behind the scenes backstory would make the movie even better and be something his fans and buyers (including you guys) would want to see? And better still would be behind the scenes footage. I'd love to see the fight staging or the moment they said cut and Emma pops up and they clap as an extra vid. That'd be cool. Again, if Blue has an issue with answering, then he can say so. But if he is interested in giving his fans something extra I would hope he'd try to answer a few questions.

Sorry guys (Mikedark and Darkmoon) but I don't understand you're attitude at all. This is a private forum set up by Blue to get feedback and questions and give information to his fans. How in the world asking questions of him about his recent and popular shoots is anything but not only acceptable but also welcome and appreciated is beyond me. I did a detailed review of SuperNova for the review section (it's not up yet cause it has to be approved cause I am a new poster) and am planning one for Wondra as well. I am a bit shocked frankly at the lack of any posts on those and other videos (the guy doing the Watery Grave one posts about a dozen updates and got no responses. I felt so bad I posted there just so he knew someone was reading the thread.) I would think anyone showing some excitement and enthusiasm on the board would be commended not excoriated.

Sorry if I sound defensive (I try to take all online posts with a grain of salt as they are not usually intended to be as stark as they can sound when read on the naked screen) but I was a bit shocked that these were the first reactions to my post. My entire post above, while perhaps pushy in its enthusiasm, was based on positive energy and excitement. Way to be a buzz-kill guys.

I'll be interested to hear what the board mods and Blue thinks about the questions. If they agree and want to take them down, then I'm wrong.

and a PS: There were a bunch of other questions that I thought of when posting these that I did think were a bit too deep and didn't ask. For one thing, I'd like to know how many sales of these sorts of vids make. It was mentioned in one of the posts that there would be more 'if these sold well.' How many is that? 50? 150? 1000? I truly have no idea how many people download these things. All those superheroine movies on clips4sale and niche and genre...the ones shot in hotel rooms and back bedrooms and apartments, you know those that are priced at like $7; how many people buy those? I really truly have no idea and would love to know? If you told be they sell about 20 vids, I'd believe it but if you told me they sell 20 thousand I'd probably believe that too. Is it the same 50 guys buying every single clip or is there a much larger unseen non-posting group of guys buying this stuff. Don't know. So, I'd love to know how many SuperNova vids Blue sells to justify making more? Does he break even or make money? Does he live in a mansion off his Wondra money or is this a labor of love as they say. But again, I didn't ask those things cause I did feel they were too nosy. But asking about the shoot and models, don't see it guys.

Any consideration of using Danica and Emma in the same vid? A SuperNova/Wondra cross over? I know the cost might be prohibitive bit I can say as a fan, it was be incredible to see them face off.

Well the fact that after the first Wondra, there were some posts with Emma's full name and some of her modelling pics. All of which were subsequently deleted, due to her not wanting her full name used. And almost led to her not doing any more of this kind of work.

Yes. The first set of 4 questions are fine. As they just relate to the series of videos etc. But I don't see the point behind the rest of the questions. There is no need to know anything about the real side of it. IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE "FANTASY". Simple.

Yeah, it's knowing the Emma almost stopped doing these because of too much personal info getting out about her that made me pause. As for the business end questions, there's nothing inherently harmful about them, but they don't seem really necessary when talking about the series of videos. Unless you're looking to either come up with your own story idea and want either Danica or Emma in it, or you're looking for ideas to help you set up your own production house, but in that case those questions are probably more appropriate either in private or in the main topic section.

Don't want to get into an extended back and forth on this as it just comes across looking bad for everyone involved. Certainly, you guys are entitled to your opinion. I just happen to disagree on this one. There have been about 150 views on this post and no one else has said they think there is a problem with it and the mods haven't said anything. Doesn't mean they won't. I just don't see a problem with it. On the name issue with Emma, I didn't know there was ever an issue with her on that front. I'll go back and edit the above post to use only first names.

I'll respond by saying that there is a very good reason the models don't want their full names posted and since we are LUCKY to have them working in this genre I think their request should be honored. And I will let Blue explain it to you like he did me. You see, I was one of the idiots who had posted certain models names and didn't understand the consequences my actions could have on their careers. Thankfully Blue is a nice guy and set me straight. I wasn't the one who caused the majority of the problems but my carelessness sure didn't help.
But you sir are a puzzle. If you had read the other links you would have already read where Blue and others clearly stated not to post models full names. Even after your 1st post you were politely instructed that models don't want their full names posted but it seems that you don't really care. I am politely asking you not to screw this up for everyone.
As for your other questions. That is Blue's business and if he wants the community to know then he will tell us. Until then we as a community have, and always will, respect blue's privacy.
Now for my own opinion. ARE YOU A TROLL OR WHAT? I've seen my fair share of internet trolls and you my friend, with your out of left field questions and responses clearly meant to agitate the reader, certainly fit the bill.

Thanks for posting that link cause I knew it was somewhere but just couldn't remember where. After I found out why they didn't want their full names posted I felt like a piece of dirt for not thinking and being so inconsiderate. To add to what Blue had posted in another thread(can't remember that thread either, sorry) the employers in the country where many of these models are from has a very poor opinion of this genre and from what I understand if it became widely known they were doing these videos then it could have a very negative affect on their careers. How their employers don't find out with how easily it is to find anything out about anyone, whoever they are, just by Googling a name is a mystery to me but I love what they bring to the genre(and I'd bet almost everyone loves their work) so I'll be more than happy to honor their wishes.

Quick response to the above replies to my original post. I purposefully held off on replying to quickly after I read Rickgasp's replies because I wanted to make sure my replies were measured and rational. It's obvious he wants a flame war and to get into something. I'll ignore the sarcasm and insults and simply stick to the facts if that's all right. But I will say I am always a bit shocked by the venom that some people throw out so easily when responding (it's like they ignore numbers 1 thru 9 and go right to 10.) Nothing in my initial post or replies was insulting or rude to anyone but I get called a troll for simply trying to contribute to a new board I found. And people wonder why there are so may lurkers and so few posters (perhaps it's because they see these sorts of threads and decline to get insulted/involved.)

Issue at hand: Few things:

1) Clearly I did not see the notice on not using actresses names. Even the initial reply by Darkmoon did not say anything about this being specifically requested by Blue but that simply that it had caused some problems on the board in the past. I did not read through the thousands of posts on the brd when I joined. If I had seen it (and clearly I should have looked harder) I wouldn't have used the names.
2) Worst case scenario for me: I made a minor error (I repeat MINOR). I used the names one time each simply to establish the actresses I was referring to. I did not post them all over the board. Again, this to me is a simple oversight. In no way, is the response I got above proportional.
3) To Maraxis: thanks for providing the link as I get the impression you were tying to be helpful and not insulting and so I do appreciate it. Again, if I had seen that notice, I would have not used the last names.
4) As I clearly stated, I tried to edit the post. I cannot. I cannot delete the post. I PM'd Sumdger and asked him to edit the names. I am sure if he feels this is an issue, he will do so.
5) I still don't get the whole 'personal' issue. Nothing I put in the initial post ventures into personal territory IMO. Asking about the shoots? About the process to hire an actress? If Blue thinks he will get other glamour models? Perhaps the money questions skirts the line but again, Blue can answer or not as he sees fit.

Hi All!

Well, I am back from vacation and can report that the bikinis on the beaches are lovely, but unfortunately were not filled with the likes of Emma and Danica. So, I enjoyed my vacation, but it's good to be back to the Bluestone mansion!

As for the controversy above, I accept that dbud, who is relatively new to this forum, innocently posted full names of a couple of actresses. Moderator Smudger stepped in and deleted those surnames in order to protect these young ladies from unwanted association with these fetish productions. I have now unlocked this topic, so feel free to comment further, now that I'm back.

Now, my answers to the questions asked are as follows:

Emma is still available for more Wondra episodes. Remember, there are two versions of Wondra 3. In the peril version, she survived. So, the storyline can certainly pick up where that one left off.

The same incidents that almost resulted in Emma not wanting to do more Wondra episodes after #1 resulted in her saying 'no' to further topless videos. We can thank that idiot Bultavia from the Ultimate Superheroine forum for that loss. Danica also decided that she didn't want to do topless fetish videos.

She requested to be billed as Emma G, and not by her full name.

Danica has not moved on. The Supernova vs. Darkwing video will be released in October, and it is possible that there may be more.

As for the second round of questions on the shoots themselves and the models:

It would not be appropriate for me to discuss anything about cast negotiations. They are of a private nature and will remain so. I also consider an actress' rate to be between her and her employer. If an actress wanted her rate to be made public, it would be up to her to post it, not me.

Once again, these details are of a private nature and will not be disclosed. Suffice it to say that both actresses were asked back and came back for additional shoots. So, obviously, I was happy with their work and they were happy to do more episodes of Wondra and Supernova.

I doubt very much that these videos would further their careers, despite the fact that I bear a striking resemblance to a younger Hugh Hefner. In the final analysis, professionals, whether they're models, actresses, doctors or politicians, work for a living. Yes, they may enjoy the work that they are doing, but it is still just a job. For us, it's a special hobby, but for most actresses, it's a job. As for multi-episode contracts, neither side is obligated to do more, but both sides are open to doing more.

I believe the phrase is "Page 3 Girls". I tend to disagree. I have worked with Playboy caliber actresses before, such as the ever precious Petra. I do not believe that Emma and Danica put these videos in a class of their own. I believe that it is the style of filmmaking that puts the Bluestone Superheroine and Sexy Spies videos into a class of their own. I personally believe that Yvonne put in a very hot performance in "Darkwing: Civilian Guise". I intend to continue to bring this type of filmmaking to this genre whether it is with Emma and Danica or with equally hot actresses.

No plans to add outtakes to these productions as I do with my regular Bluestone productions. Once again, it is a different type of filmmaking, and I have made the decision to show these actresses only in their edited performances. Once again, it's not appropriate for me to show these actresses outside of their film roles. We are not their agents and they are not part of our regular Bluestone cast or exclusive Bluestone actresses such as Petra and Suzi.

Hopefully, the foregoing will provide sufficient feedback to give you all an idea of what questions I'm prepared to answer and discuss, and what questions are really of an inappropriate nature under all of the circumstances involved.
