Free Speech vs Hate Speech!!!

Hi All,

Just wanted to make it abundantly clear to any members of the public that are reading these posts that this site is about the Fantasy Female Death Fetish (FFDF) which is NOT about hatred of women. When I, as owner of this board, was forced to ban a member for remarks made on this board, it was because I considered these remarks not only to be crude, but to be a hateful attack on women, and especially on women who act in this FFDF genre.

It has been my experience, both through personal experience and through monitoring these message boards for many years, that those who are interested in the FFDF genre for the most part absolutely love women (or are women themselves) and, by supporting this genre, are in no way supporting hatred against women.

With respect to the women who act in this genre, they are also for the most part idolized by those here, and deserve our praise for their fantastic contributions to this genre. Many of these lovely ladies are indeed talented actresses, and, in my experience are some of the most wonderful people who I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. It will take more than one hatefilled individual to change my love of women in general and these women in particular. In fact, it would be impossible to change my opinion on this subject!

Despite the fact that one opinion will never change my love for women, it must be publically stated, that this member was not simply banned because I did not like his post... which I didn't, but because I considered it to represent hate speech, and this hatred was not just limited to women.

This board, and the laws of most free societies allow and actually encourage free speech, but there are always limits on the exercise of this right, and one of the universal restrictions is hate speech. Hate speech will never be tolerated on this site. The offending post has not been removed, not because this administration supports it, because we obviously DO NOT, but because we want to make it clear what type of posts will get you banned from this site. So, if you are an individual who hates women, this is NOT the site for you, so please move on!

In the years when RueMorgue had an active board, I had to ban several persons for their dis-respectful remarks regarding our models. I am glad to see that you don't tolerate such un-gentlemanly conduct either.

As producers we come to appreciate the professionalism of actresses who are able to place themselves in the role of the female victim and turn in a very respectable performance. The forums, IMHO, are the place to compliment those who perform well and encourage those who need a little more experience and direction.

Sadly not all those who engage in the fetish are innocuous or capable of drawing the line between fantasy and behaving sociopathically. Discovering those individuals and encouraging them to move on is a great step in stimulating open and candid discussion of the feelings and experiences of your members.

Kudos to you once more.
