The quiet before the storm.....
We gave him enough rope, and he hung himself.
Now I wonder if he will claim "martyrdom" ( gee I hope I spelled that right) over there
and demote us to "rival board" status (actually, putting us in better company )

Well, NP, it's entirely up to him. It is his board, after all. If we are declared a rival board, then I'll have to ask for a definition of 'rival board' so that I can properly follow the rules. I bet we have to trash DS at every opportunity, or something like that. Well, I'm sure we'll receive a Rival Board Charter... suitable for framing! It should be included in there. I hope we can live up to it though, since we really aren't the nasty type over here. Do you think we'll have to cuss and swagger, or tattoo anti-DS phrases on our shaved heads? I'm really at a loss to understand what's going to be expected of us. I guess I'll have to form a war cabinet and make plans to drop seals behind DS enemy lines... and I do mean seals... you know, those cute baby seals that are featured in the documentaries all of the time? Bother! What to do, what to do???

Sad as it is to admit, bad news sells. I'm willing to bet that G isn't mentioning his 'persecutuon' at FF to his DS audience because he doesn't want them coming over here. Flame wars with G getting trashed can make for good reading, folks would likely come over here to take a look.

I don't find it surprising that there is no mention of the recent flame war on DS. Let me explain, that his board could be properly called Fort DS. The thousand rules he has carefully worded and edited are the walls of the fort, and the key to his absolute control.
If you try to copy a threat, that reflects negatively on him, he merely slaps you with one of his rules ,and deletes the offending post. If anyone interferes with his actions, he slaps that rule on him/her that they are interfering with a moderator in the line of duty. If you continue your protest, he reaches into his back pocket (which bulges with unpublished video reviews and blank vacation slips) ,and hands you one of his well known ,no expense paid vacations. When all else fails, and you don't return with a happy, but a contrite face, you are asked to leave. Thus, any information you may have had, that is contrary to his behavior outside his board, is never put out on a thread at Fort DS.
This is common knowledge for those people who post on his board.
