Bluestone Goes To Crowd-Funding!

BIG changes at Bluestone Videos!

We have a few up and coming videos to release over the next couple of months, but thereafter we are only going to be filming Superheroine material that has been successfully crowd funded. Why? Well, it's simple. We spend a lot of money to produce the very best Superheroine videos in the industry, and I believe that over the past few years we have demonstrated our superior quality. Well, this quality and inclusion of requested material into our videos doesn't come cheap. For every shoot, I have to pony up thousands and thousands of dollars in the hopes that the videos being shot will sell. Of course, it's very disappointing after having invested so much money in a project to read posts similar to the following: "No K.O., No sale", or "No pantyhose? I won't be buying this one", or other such comments. Of course, I have offered to fans that they can purchase customs, but none have been able to cover the $5,000 price tag. So, we've decided from now on to produce only what the fans want and are willing to pay for. We are prepared to schedule a shoot in November and film up to three possible new videos, but only if we have received sufficient Indiegogo crowd funding by October 18th (30 days from now).

The projects would be up to two Darkwing videos, and a Supernova or Supernova Prime video. We will outline the basic storylines in our Indiegogo campaign, and everyone who wants to see these videos produced can contribute. Basically, we'll be asking you to prepay $25 for each of these videos, and an additional $25 in order to have your favourite fetish element included. If this crowd funding campaign works, there will be more Bluestone Superheroine videos. If not, we will be looking at other material to film, but I'm confident that there will be sufficient support for this new initiative, because it will give everyone even more of what they want to see in our videos.

I just need a little assistance in order to complete the Indiegogo campaign. Firstly with respect to the Supernova/Supernova Prime video project, which of the above elements would you pay an additional $25 to include in the video. I assume that similar answers would apply to the Darkwing video with the exception of adding unmasking instead of the super powers options. If we get 10 contributions for an element, it will be included. If they are mutually exclusive elements, such as pantyhose and bare legs, we'll include the first element that gets 10 contributions. Every contributor of at least $25 will receive the finished video. If the video is not produced or we do not get 10 contributions for an element before competing elements reach 10 contributions, the contribution will be converted into credits at the Bluestone store.

So, before I start the campaign, your votes on the above poll will determine which elements we should include. If an important element is missing from the poll above, please post or email me with the element that you want added to the Indiegogo campaign. (DDGBluestone@hotmail.com)

I'll need those votes within the next week in order to decide on whether or not there is sufficient interest in launching the crowd funding campaign.

Well all I really want would be a Melody Sky Supernova Prime fatal strangling vid, anything else is fine but it'd need to be 100% it'd be Melody Supernova Prime with a fatal strangling/garroting at the end if I'm going to have to fund so much as is.

That's correct. First, we'll use the poll to see which actress is most popular. Then, we will propose a video with that actress and crowd fund it through Indiegogo. So, if it turns out being Melanie, and you want a backbreaker, you would contribute $50 and get the video once it's shot and edited. Of course, we'll need more than one person for each element to be included. Provided we get 10 people paying for a backbreaker, we'll include that element, i.e. 10 X $50 = $500 X 10 elements = $5,000, and you've all just crowd funded a custom video.

Just one question: will there be an extreme version of the video (death ending) with the peril version both released after each success in the "crowd-funding" as you did always before. Because I'm only fan in the death fetish, I can't fund it if I'm not sure that the death version (extreme) of the video will be released. Whatever fetish will be put in this video, I want to be sure that the extreme version of the video will be released...

Good question, and the answer is a resounding 'yes'! We will be doing both a death and a peril ending as usual, and you can pick which video you want at the crowd funding site when you put down your initial $25 prepayment. Then, you can add any additional elements that you want to see in the video.

I really don't like the idea of paying in advance for a video, when you don't even know how it's gonna result... So I'm sorry but I won't be contributing, I'll buy the video when it's ready, if I like the trailer, previews, etc. I don't think the customers should risk their money like you're asking. I believe that the idea of risking some money in a project he believes, to get a benefit, is what a businessman does.

Anyway, I don't mean to be rude, Blue, but I don't get why you change your mind about your business model so easily... If you are losing money, just cut some costs in the making of the videos, or up the price tag and that's it...

So I'm sorry but I won't be contributing, I'll buy the video when it's ready, if I like the trailer, previews, etc. I don't think the customers should risk their money like you're asking. hey, supercrack...From what I have read, It appears that you have brought Bluestone's videos and your a fan of his videos and you know that his films are top notch and are in the best quality..but yet...you say that you won't contribute to help get the films made. My question is why? You know that type of product your going to get and the quality of the film...But why not help get the films funded?

I think the poll should have been broken up into parts since we only have one option.One part could be MELODY OR MELANIE then the next poll OTS OR CRADLE CARRY then FRONT BEARHUG OR BACK BEARHUG and WINNING IN PERIL OR LOSING etc....

As a result of comments made on the Ultimate Superheroine forum, I have decided to make the following change to the proposed Indiegogo campaigns...
The prepayment price for each video will be $20 (not $25) and it will initially retail for $40, to be dropped to $25 only after at least two weeks. So, those who have prepaid get both a discount and an early release.

The Dark Wondra Saga Indiegogo campaign was an attempt to widen our market to include mainstream fans, but it was not successful. It was only supported by fetish fans, and we thank those who supported it. What resulted was a fantastic Season 2 which featured multiple heroine episodes which were bigger and better than our Season 1 videos. Those who contributed certainly got their money's worth!

The poll is only to sample what elements are most popular, but the Indiegogo campaign will allow you to claim multiple perks, or elements. In another day or so, we will be launching our Indiegogo campaigns. So, get your votes in asap.

Our new funding model differs from the Dark Wondra Saga campaign in almost every way possible. It is not a way to partially fund what we are going to be filming anyway. If this campaign is not successful, we will be closing down our Bluestone Superheroine division completely and for good. No, we're not going to cut corners and make an inferior product. No, we are not going to plead for your support. We are simply giving you, the fans, the opportunity of having more Bluestone Superheroine videos produced. If you don't want them, then we'll simply be retiring Supernova, Supernova Prime, Darkwing, Wondra, Dark Wondra, Ultrawoman, Blackbird and all of the other gorgeous Bluestone Superheroines! Hopefully, they won't go down without a fight.

Up to you, guys. It's yours for the taking!
