The toy gun fight genre

I posted this at the end of another thread, but I wanted to give it its own topic because it seems to raise some questions and misconceptions...

Some don't seem to understand the toy gun genre (including some producers), and being someone who has commissioned customs in this fashion, let me explain what the appeal is:

1) Bloodless deaths -- Some of us don't really *like* very bloody or realistic death scenes. It's more about the physical/body movement, the vocals, and the whole reaction to the shooting. If blood is not a requirement, the toy gun concept works well. After all, many old movies got by on acting alone and no special effects. It worked then, it can work now.
2) Multiple death scenes -- In most death fetish videos, if the girl dies, she's dead for good... We get one death scene for $xxx. That's fine if that's all we want to see, but what about people who like large-scale shootouts and action movie type themes? The only way to do that would be to spend thousands of dollars and hire a cast of dozens. In a toy gun video, we can suspend disbelief and just have 2 girls act out several different scenes. Average cost per death scene goes way down... HOORAY!
3) A more "lighthearted" atmosphere -- Believe it or not, some of us also don't like the sinister/creepy feel of serial killers and psychos stalking innocent victims. We prefer to see women in action, shooting guns, kill-or-be-killed scenarios. Many of my favorite scenes are like those 1960s spy flicks, were girls get gunned down in a very breezy, almost casual manner. There's not much hand-wringing about it; just blam-blam-thank-you-ma'am! It has a very "fun" feel to it, nothing heavy or dark. Just a playful shoot-em-up mood, that's what we want.
4) Nostalgia -- A lot of us played those childhood games, like "army" and "cops and robbers" and "cowboys and Indians." This is a way to relive those playing dead games, albeit with adult women in sexy outfits... It's an updating of a fun childhood memory, you could say, with a sexy twist.

That about explains it. If you don't get it, you don't get it. Those who do know what I mean. Maybe others who also enjoy this genre can add some of the features that they appreciate in them...?

I bought one of those "Gun Fun" type videos a couple of years ago. I can't remember who produced it at the moment, and its at the bottom of my video drawer...
It had Stacy Burke in it (which is why I bought it) and she must have bought it 15 times or more in the video. It was great fun to watch someone get it over and over ( kinda imagined my ex wife taking her place ) and if you just didn't pay attention to the "intermissions" between gun battles it had some great (and not so great) scenes in it - was really worth what I paid for it.
I'm more of a strangle,bag, drown fan myself, not into seeing a lot of blood & guts. (saw enough in my day to day job) so "bloodless"shootings of that type are OK with me.
I had Annabelles do one for me as payment for a ton of uniforms I sent them, and by my request the only did the little red dots all over, with out the extra gushing gallons some producers seem to love.
