Thank you, Paul,
I totally do understand the difficulty of public relations.
The gentleman on the other board, IMHO, has been unrealistic in his expectations of all producers. Personally, I find it sad when a "reviewer" (often self designated) trashes any production because I've walked in the shoes of a producer and sometimes, when things don't go as you expected, you are stuck with a production that you have invested in and you need to try and recoup some of that expense. When the attack turns on the model, and some of them lurk on these boards, then it can discourage them from further participation. Back in the "early days" there was a model named Therese, who was an accomplished actress. She had a problem with her weight, but was a really nice gal and into the fetish. At any rate, some mean spirited people on the old NB board attacked her personally and basically ran her out of acting in fetish films.
It is one thing to savor the evil killer themes in the fantasy world of movies and quite another to carry that behavior into real life. The vast majority of people in the genre, I think, treat ladies in real life with respect and honor. However, there are obvious exceptions.
The particular individual on the other board, I've been told, has been trashing me for two and a half years (that's how long ago he was banned). How he thinks that would get him "re-instated" is beyond me. Interestingly, my "fan mail" from customers regarding customer service is about 10 to one thanking me for good service. Then, there are those who think we should have operators standing by 24/7 waiting for a call from some individual who can't download his purchase (and 99% have never bothered to read the FAQ that we have posted with detailed instructions). I don't think they will ever be pleased. It's pretty hard to be in any business that has to interact with the public and not p*ss off a few of them. The best you can do is be fair and realize that you can't please 100% of them. I just try and remember one of my favorite poems.
Anyway, thanks for the support, Paul

–Charles Mackay (1814-1887)You have no enemies, you say?
Alas, my friend, the boast is poor;
He who has mingled in the fray
Of duty, that the brave endure,
Must have made foes! If you have none,
Small is the work that you have done,
You’ve hit no traitor on the hip,
You’ve dashed no cup from perjured lip;
You’ve never turned the wrong to right,
You’ve been a coward in the fight.
Anyway, thanks for the support, Paul
