Let me explain to those who don't already know the set-up here. It's simple...

You may think that you're just on a message board somewhere on the Internet, but that's only your logical mind and skeptical senses talking. By entering here, you have entered a luxurious sprawling mansion, not unlike the Playboy mansion. There are beautiful women everywhere... Hi Dalila! See, I told you... Now, there are specific rooms here for writers, people who like to share videos, and for video producers to announce their latest works. Where you are right now is the sprawling lounge area. There are thousands of smaller rooms off of this lounge area. We call them threads. Most of them are crowded with happy people having fun. Some doors may open on the gym area, where sparring may take place, or on rooms where heated discussions are taking place. If these don't interest you, then feel free to ignore those rooms. In the spawling gardens, there are fountains, swimming pools, hot tubs, and a relatively harmless pterodactyl... that is unless you happen to be a beautiful, blonde cheerleader. So, that's the grand tour. Now, feel free to wander about the mansion, and make some friends. The drinks are on the house.

Before we gander at the magnificence of these corridors in safety, it would be wise to remove the large turd that plugs the catacombs below us.

With that in mind:

KHP, I hate to break it to you, but there was no cyber bullies in 1869. There was really no public Internet until 1991, when CERN began the new World Wide Web project two years after British scientist Tim Berners-Lee had begun creating HTML, HTTP and the first few Web pages at CERN. In 1993 the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (University of Illinois) released version 1.0 of Mosaic. In 1994 there was growing public interest in the Internet. During the 1990s, it was estimated that the Internet grew by 100% per year, with a brief period of explosive growth in 1996 and 1997. Notice I am talking about the publicly available Internet, not the military one from the 80's.

When did you come online KHP? 1999? Make your first video for this genre? 2000? Those were the days when you could sling mud about anyone you wanted to under a cloak of anonymity and without fear of litigation. But journalists and publicists new the law, and cringed for several years as they watched and waited for the litigation bomb to drop. And it did. Lawyers are discovering the Internet is laden with possible libel actions just waiting to happen, and cash in on it. Don't expect Blue to come to any one's aid when it hits here. And I predict it will, sooner or later, because loose lips sink ships and some people do not understand Free Speech, which is far from Free.

I'm only the messenger delivering the warning. Don't blame me when one of you punks get hit and the judge looks down his nose at you. I guarantee, a judge will fail to see most of your subterfuge as humor.

Though I admit, some of it is so off the wall that I have not stopped laughing for three days.

Glad you're here, and nice of you to take the mansion tour. The Bluestone mansion is a magical place, and you basically get out of it what you put in, and everyone sees the mansion slightly differently. The chandelier is indeed from Quebec, a gift from our new member Peter. Thanks, Peter. It really matches the upscale decor here

Glad you're also exploring the rest of the mansion. Now, this is the lounge area. So, sparring should take place in separate sparring threads, which either you or others can start. Obviously, Paul of KHP is in a Back to the Future mode. He thought he'd go back in time to gain the rep as the biggest, meanest cyber-bully on the planet. Of course, there was no one to cyber bully back in 1869. Hell, Canada was only 2 years old! Anyway, he was able to gain the rep and he maintains it unchallenged to this very day.

Now, the Internet legal issues would be a great thread, John. Why don't you start a thread and see what others may want to contribute? I'd love to comment on your statements on a separate thread, but on this thread I'm a little tied up showing everyone around.

Oh, don't worry about that pterodactyl soaring above the sprawling swimming pool out in the back garden. He only has a taste for lovely blonde cheerleaders.

There is a place for this, you know. Oh, I'm sorry, I must have given you the quick nickel mansion tour. The orgy rooms are on the third level, and the private make-out rooms are on the fourth level. Each make-out room is furnished with jacuzzi, king-size bed, satin covered couch and silk draperies... Oh, and for those unlike Paul who didn't bring their own dates, just pull that silken cord, and we'll send a hot babe up for you.

Speaking of hot babes, Mystique can change into Rebecca Romijn. So, I'm not put off by that apparent skin condition in the least

Now, I enjoyed the photo, and would love to see more. I was hoping you would see this as a way to build bridges, rather than burn them. Burning bridges prevents friendships from starting. I expect that from a destructive little punk ass, not a 40 some year old actor, producer, whatever.

Hi Blue, thanks for accepting my reservation and thanks for the nice tour of your mansion. I had driven by your mansion many times on my way to visit another nice little mansion similar to yours. The lovely ladies who run that one have a lot of nice accommodations, as do you. They have one feature I can't seem to find here... an ignore button. Do you have one of those? I have never used that particular feature before, but I was beginning to wish it was available.

Also, if you could convince your lovely Italian guest to draw my bath water and turn down my covers at night, I would gladly share my jacuzzi and king-sized bed with her. Thanks!

No problem on either count. Your bath has been drawn and your bed is being turned down even now, and an ignore feature has been provided for you in your room (or control panel). Simply press the 'User Control Panel' button on the blue bar under the FF logo. Once in the control panel, on the list to the left, choose 'Friends and Foes'. Then choose 'Manage Foes'. Type in the username of the person you wish to ignore, and I think you can take it from there.

Also, for everyone, before finalizing your posts, highlight your entire post and use the dropdown menu to the upper right of the text box to choose Font Size Large. It makes your posts so much easier to read for us oldtimers

I'm aware of the other mansion down the street. It's another friendly place to hang out.

If there's anything else you wish to know about the mansion, just ask.

I've finally learned to do this. I was having trouble reading posts, even my own, having to frequently use zoom in my browser while on this board.

I have a question about this. Is there any way to set up a default color and font for posting without having to do this manually for each post? I sometimes have trouble getting the highlight to scroll down through my lengthy posts, lol, and it would save time if font and color preferences could be set at a default.

If no way to do it, no problem. I just look for faster ways.

BrianTK, our tech wizard, has been trying to find a way to set the global font size at large, but he is limited by the software. So, if anyone ever figures this out, or has knowledge of how to do this, kindly let me know.
