Battle scenes

To me, the best death scenes are big battle scenes where you see female extras getting killed in the background, or already dead ones on the ground being in the shot. I think one of the best ones is the beach fight scene in Wonder Woman, does anyone else have any good examples?

Two of my favourite mass battle scenes are 'Temptress with 1000 Faces' (shooting) and 'Red Sonja' (Swords)

This thread reminds me of a scene in Xena, Warrior Princess in which Xena leads the Amazons in an amphibious beach invasion. But I can't find the scene on YouTube anymore.
