Darkwing takes on Phoenix, a female villain, and loses a hand to hand battle with her, suffering a cracked back in the process. She is then thrown on a table, unmasked and tortured. This is where the two versions diverge: The Vivacious Vigilantes version depicts Darkwing being strangled topless by Phoenix with a whip, and Phoenix is also topless while performing the killing. It sells for $18.00. The Sexy Superheroines version has Darkwing unmasked and beaten into semi-consciousness while fully clothed. It sells for $15.00.
