This episode begins with Supernova being attacked and strangled in her civilian identity. To protect her secret identity, she has to play along and allow her attacker to strangle her, including rendering her topless.

Supernova starts to wipe the floor with this same attacker once she enters in costume, but to her surprise, she's been set up. Her attacker has an ace in the hole... a length of Novanite rope, that he uses to weaken, defeat and strangle her to death! Again, this time in costume, Supernova is rendered topless.
