Debbie D plays a determined District Attorney who is intent on tracking down and putting a serial killer behind bars. She is interviewing a witness to the latest murder (Melina),but while she does so, the serial killer slips through Melina’s bedroom window.
During a break in the interview, Melina goes to her bedroom to a grab a cigarette, and is attacked and brutally strangled. The ligature that he uses is pulled so tightly around her neck that she cannot scream, but merely emits quiet gurgles and gaks, inaudible by Debbie D in the other room.
Eventually, Debbie enters the bedroom to check on Melina and is also attacked and brutally strangled to death!
