When a Nexus agent arrives to interview Kerie, we learn in a flashback that Celeste has strangled the real Kerie and taken her place. The Nexus agent forces Celeste to drop the image projection and reveal her true self. Then (as Suzi) Celeste is shot multiple times with a silenced gun until she’s quite dead!
